Hong Kong - Education
Education is a main concern of expatriate families, not only for their children, but for the trailing spouse too. Paguro reaches out to cover all aspects of education from early learning to distance learning, from compulsory education to arts and crafts, from kindergarten to online university. Paguro has tailored this section to suit the needs of the entire expatriate family.
Hong Kong has many excellent international schools with different curricula, so you are bound to find one that meets your needs. It is imperative that you investigate schools as soon as you know you are moving because many schools are very difficult to get into since they are at capacity. Your company may have understandings with certain schools, which may help get your child into school.
Unfortunately, it is not an option to send your child to public school as they are taught in Cantonese and require that you be a citizen of Hong Kong in order to attend.
