Mexican people are very warm-hearted. You will find that you are treated with respect and accepted at once, no matter where you are from.  Don't be upset if things don't work as efficiently as they might in your own country. Everything here takes a little longer, but it will be done, eventually.

Although  Spanish is spoken everywhere, you will find many people in the larger cities, who speak English. An interesting fact is, that Nahuatl and Maya are still spoken by about 7 % of the population and the dialect is officially accepted by the Mexican Government.
