Instruction in Swedish language is available free of charge by (SFI) Svenska för Invandrare (Swedish for immigrants). As long as you are not a diplomat or an employee of a UN type of organization. Contact the Immigrant Service Bureau . However keep in mind that students attending these classes are of mixed background so a university student may sit next to a person with very poor reading skills. If you belong to the first group you may want to consider taking private classes for fast results.
