Singapore - University and College
Singapore has three universities, four polytechnics and one
technical institute. The universities are highly regarded in Asia and
competition for university entrance is strong. Entry into the universities
is very competitive and there are few places for foreign students. There are
however many opportunities to study with overseas universities which conduct
some courses in Singapore or which have a distance-learning program.
