The Singapore Airlines subsidiary Silk Air flies to smaller Asian cities
such as Chang Mai in Thailand, Xiamen and Kunming in China and other
destinations in S.E. Asia.
Many other airlines operate out of Changi airport including Air France, Air India, Air NZ, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, JAL, KLM, Lufthansa, Qantas and United Airlines.

Both Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines operate shuttle services from Changi Airport S$152 for one way confirmed ticket. Save S$37 dollars if you join the first-come-first-served shuttle queue.

You can book directly with the airline – e-tickets on the internet, telephone tickets and in person over the counter (extra fee for this). Telephone bookings with credit card payment are easy to do. These are ticket-less but a confirmation is sent by fax. When checking in at the airport you will need to show your faxed confirmation and the credit card that was used to make the payment.
Ticketing Time Limit - After making a reservation, tickets have to be issued within a set time limit or else the reservation will be cancelled. The time limit varies with class of travel and amount of time in advance that the reservation was made. Check on this when you make a reservation as you may not always be given this information clearly.
Use the Telephone check-in service to obtain your seat allocation before you leave home. Check-in time at the airport for economy class passengers is 90 minutes before departure and 60 minutes if you have already checked-in by telephone.
