Singapore - Pets

Thinking about bringing your pet with you to Singapore? You should know the following:

• Quarantine- all pets except dogs and cats from Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Ireland must undergo at least thirty days of quarantine. For more information about importing pets and the quarantine process go to Pets Paperwork.
• Climate- Singapore has a hot tropical climate that may not be suitable for pets from more temperate climates.
• Rental accommodation – this may not always be suitable for pets or pets may not be allowed (especially in apartments).
• Environment and rules – Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times in public places.
