Singapore - Child care and baby-sitting
There are basically two options for childcare in Singapore, enroll your child in a privately run pre-school or employ a part-time or full-time live-in maid or nanny. It may be possible to bring a maid or nanny who has been in your employ in another country with you to Singapore.
Pre-schools with full-day childcare
Most pre-schools in Singapore do not provide all day childcare but those listed here do.

Baby-sitting
It may not be so easy to find casual babysitters in Singapore. During the day childcare is readily available but evenings without the children may be more difficult to organize.
Many expatriate families with children employ a maid and some cleaning/ maid companies also provide babysitters.
National Association and women’s group may provide information on available babysitters.
