Electricity in
Norway is 220 or 230 volt, like in most European countries. Sockets and
plugs are the same design as you find in France and Germany.
The electricity supply in Norway comes mainly from hydroelectric power
stations, and the energy market is deregulated and competitive.
Gas is not very much used in Norway, but rather oil.
