Oslo - Children
Children will enjoy a more safe and secure childhood in Norway than in many other countries. In Oslo you will see children walking, cycling or taking the bus to school on their own, as this is considered safe. Children play outside a lot and Oslo can offer a variety of sports clubs and outdoor activities. In the winter, skiing is by far a favourite activity, with ski slopes and tracks only minutes from the city centre. In the summer, there are plenty of beaches to chose from, or why not take a boat trip on the fjord? The hills, lakes and forests surrounding Oslo are freely accessible to the public and represents a huge playground for the whole family.
