Mexico - Terrorism
Mexico is not an obvious target for international terrorism, thanks to its 'no intervention' policy. That is, Mexico condemns violence but avoids choosing sides when a conflict arises between countries.
If a violent act were to disturb Mexico City, as unlikely as it sounds right now, Paguro recommends that you reach the safety of your own home. Follow the same emergency evacuation procedures that you and your family would follow in case of a natural disaster (see Environmental Emergencies)
Common sense advice: Always have a cell phone with you and provide your family members with one, too.
