Mexico City - Dental Care

In Mexico City, there are many dentists and dental specialists, but it is always best to get a recommendation from someone you trust,  before choosing a dentist.
Dental insurance doesn't generally apply in this country, except for employees of very large banking institutions, who are provided with a list of dentists they can visit.
So, unless you are a bank employee, you will usually have to pay for the whole bill. Be sure to ask for a complete estimate of the number of visits needed and total costs of the treatment(s), in writing.
