Calling for a taxi
You can call for a taxi to pick you up (which is nice if you need one early in the morning to go to the airport and live in a place where taxis don’t pass regularly). Try Wing Tai Radio Taxi at + 852 2527 8524 or + 852 2861 1011. You can reserve a taxi the night before you need one, or you can call when you need one and hope a taxi is available to come get you.
Taxi colors
A red taxi serves Hong Kong Island and Kowloon only. A green taxi serves the New Territories only. And blue taxis serve Lantau island only. You are most likely to encounter red taxis.
