Hong Kong - Duty Free Shopping
Hong Kong is usually seen as a duty free port, but this isn’t 100% accurate. Duty is charged on liquor, cigarettes, tobacco, methyl alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, and cosmetics (if brought in large quantities.)
There is duty free shopping at the airport, but since Hong Kong is a duty free port, the prices are not much different (and sometimes more expensive) at the airport than in town.
