Hong Kong - Car Rental
There are some rental agencies in Hong Kong, but they are really unnecessary as the public transportation is excellent and efficient. Renting a car will be expensive, and it will be difficult to find your way around the city. Parking is also expensive and is not usually free if you’re staying at a hotel.
The renter must usually be 25 years old and have had an endorsed driver’s license for at least 2 years. If the license is not in English, an International Driver’s license may be needed. Contact the company for specific information. Also, a credit card in the driver’s name is usually required to rent a car.
