Munich - Communication

 As Munich is an industrialised, western, urban centre, in virtually instantaneous contact with the rest of the world, you can get up to date communications via the web and through radio, TV and a variety of newspapers and magazines in many languages.

Many people in Munich are English speaking expats like yourself, and since English is compulsory in school, many Germans speak a little English. Of course your expat experience will be enhanced if you learn not only the German language, but also some of the culture.
