There are over 50 institutions in Munich offering seniors various levels of assisted housing from complexes of self-catered units with staff available during the day, to 24-hour complete care. The facilities at these institutions vary.
Some have gardens, chapels, swimming pools, on-site hairdressers and various other health, medical and recreational facilities.
Others are just like an ordinary apartment block.
