There are a lot of industries in Bavaria. Many international companies have one or several branches in Munich. With these international companies you will often find that the official working language is English, but you will have a greater chance of finding employment if you can speak German.

The job market in Munich is going through a downturn. Many large international companies and tech companies are laying off workers. There is a lot of competition for the few places available.

Expect months to elapse between applying for a job, getting an acknowledgement of your application, being advised of an interview, finding out if you are successful, and then actually beginning work.
