Cinema (Kino)
Although Bavaria Film Studios is located in Munich, Germany does not have a very large film industry, so the majority of films screened at mainstream cinemas are imported from (English-speaking) countries. However, like TV programs, most original language films are dubbed into German rather than running the original soundtrack with subtitles.

If you don't speak German, this problem can be circumvented by going to movies that have 'OV' (original version) or 'OmU' (Original version mit Untertitel - original version with subtitles). Original language films are shown at the following cinemas (ring ahead, check newspapers or the individual cinema's website for session times).
