Near your house or apartment you can find recycling collection bins of different colors:
- blue for plastic, metal and cardboard
- white for glass
- green for the rest of the garbage which isn't toxic and bulky.

For some things, (microwaves, TV's, sofas, etc) you have to go to the “déchetterie” where you can also leave the garden waste etc.
