Dental care insurance is very important since the social security reimburses only a small part of the costs. Generally, companies offer a “mutuelle” or a complementary health insurance to their employees, which reimburses all or part of the costs.

Basic treatment like fillings and removing plaque is normally reimbursed. But all orthodontic treatment like bridges, false teeth etc, is poorly covered by the social security.
