In case of an accident you must complete a "constat à l'amiable" which you should have received from your car insurance company. If both drivers are not agreeing about the way the accident happened, don't sign the document and write your point of view. Both drivers must complete and sign it. You will have to inform and send it to your insurance. Police or insurance companies will help you.
