Paris - Dental care
The social security reimburses only part of the dental
care, so it is advisable to have a special insurance for it. Generally
companies offer their employees a “mutuelle” or a complementary health
insurance which reimburses part or all costs.
Basic treatment like fillings and removing plaque is normally reimbursed.
But all orthodontic treatments like bridges, crowns etc, are poorly covered
by the social security.
Exceptions exist for children (under 16), but first, you need to ask the
social security (entente préalable) for advice.
