If you want access to TV programmes from several countries, you can get a digital satellite television or connect to a cable system.

    Sky Digital Europe has been providing the Sky television service to schools throughout Europe via their network of dealers. They are now extending this service to members of staff and parents.
  • Solsat
    Another service is Solsat . They also provide SKY television without having to have an UK address. They are based in  Spain and are extremely helpful. Lots of information on their website:

  • There are many Internet Service Providers that you can use in France. Here are some of them:

    - Cario
    - Free
    - Claranet
    - Club-Internet
    - Tiscali
    - La Poste
    The fees change every month, you better check to get the best deal.

TV / Satellite TV      

  • TV license
    In France, you must declare your TV set and pay the annual license fee (around 115 euros) to:

  • TV channels
    French TV has six national channels: 'TF1', 'France2', 'France3', 'Arte / La Cinquième', 'M6 and 'CanalPlus'. 'CanalPlus' is a private channel and you need to pay extra to see it. But at certain hours of the day you can watch it for free.
