Copenhagen - Airport
Copenhagen Airport is on the island in front of Copenhagen called Amageris. The airport is referred to as Kastrup, from the name of the town close by.
The airport, which is about 8 km from Copenhagen, is well connected both with the city and the rest of the country through a strong network of bus and trains.
There are 3 terminals in Kastrup but arrivals are all in terminal 3. You can take the free shuttle bus which runs between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 and domestic flights. The bus ride lasts about 5 minutes.

Train
The train station is right under Terminal 3 with the ticket office just above the station. There are lifts and travolators between the platforms and Terminal 3.
From Kastrup station trains to the capital leave every 10 minutes and there trains for other destination in Denmark and trains for Sweden.
Bus
Buses are parked outside the terminals and there are a number of different lines. Tickets for buses are also bought inside terminal 3.
Taxi
Taxis are located outside the terminals. All arrivals arrive in terminal 3. Taxis always have the meter installed in their cars and is activated when passengers are on board so ther eis no need to discuss the price and it is not considered appropriate either. Tipping is a choice and is not expected.
