Munich - Shopping for Sports Equipment

Muenchners tend to lead very active lifestyles, so there are lots of sporting opportunities around and places to buy the equipment! The German mindset is that if you bother doing anything, you do it properly. This means that before you embark on a sport, you must have ALL the gear, and it must be of the highest quality. Last year's models are often sold at a discount price, and there are also flee markets 'Flohmarkt' around from time to time where you can get used goods fairly cheaply. It's hard to get information on when and where these flee markets are staged, so if you happen across one, please tell Paguro!

All Sports

Sporting equipment and clothing can be found in most major department stores and sports department stores. While some articles are available year round, the shops generally cycle their stock on a 6 month basis between Winter sports and Summer sports.
