Welcome to Germany, the country of poets and great philosophers!
Open minded, modern and tolerant, Germany is located in the heart of Europe. Like most countries in 'old Europe', Germany is generally an expensive place to live.
Although German is the only language widely spoken, you will find many people, especially among the young, who speak fluent English or French. Germans are usually very punctual and organized.
The country has many places of interest and a wonderful landscape, which allows many leisure pursuits. Starting from the north, there are beautiful islands and beaches, travelling through the country there are incredible castles and vineyards scattered all over, and in the south, you can discover the awe-inspiring Alps.
If you enjoy biking, the special bike routes available in the cities and in the countryside allow you to cycle safely and at your leisure.
Enjoy the tour!
