Munich - Distance Learning

Many universities and other academic and non-academic learning institutions are now offering distance learning options for students. You do not need to be in the same city, let alone same continent to follow a program of study.

Make sure that you are able to obtain all the study materials. If you are doing a course from an institution in your home country, it may be worth acquiring all the study aids before you leave.

Before enrolling, it pays to check out the course thoroughly. See what past and current students think of the course, and also how relevant employers view the qualification. Look at how the assessment works. If you have to post hard copies of work for assessment, find out how long postage takes. Also check whether you need to attend particular assessment dates in person.

You will most likely be able to find a course that suits you at an institution in your home country. English speakers in Munich may also consider doing a course with the University of London. They have an external program, with an office in Munich:
