Junibacken
At Djurgården is the land of Astrid Lindgrens books, i.e. Pippi Longstocking.  Children 4+ are likely to benefit more than smaller children from a visit there. Children can take a trainride through the fairytale land, play in Pippi Longstocking's house, play in the multimedia room, learn colors and other skills on computers.

The Public Library at Medborgarplatsen, Södermalm has a collection of Astrid Lindgren books in all languages.

Kampementsbadet
Go swimming at Kampementsbadet in the summer. .Södergarns Friuftsbad is also great for swimming with children.

At Sergels Torg arranges creative exercises for children.

Skansen
Is the world's first open-air museum and shows buildings of cultural and historic interest from various parts of Sweden. For children there are pony rides, animals, an aquarium and a monkey house.
