The Public Employment Agency (Arbetsförmedlingen) is where you should go first of all to get advice and help in looking for a job. In this office they have current listings of available jobs. There are various offices in different parts of the city so just look in the pink pages of your telephone directory for the one closest to you In these agencies you can find information brochures in different languages. Before going to this agency prepare a Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume of your previous education and work experience. If your CV is in English you do not need to translate it in Swedish. Remember that all applications should be submitted in electonic form. You need to bring with you valid residence and work permits, school and work certificates.
