Good quality clothing and footwear of all types is available but prices tend to be high. The main branch of each of the following shops/stores are in the center of Stockholm at a walking distance from one another, and their branches are distributed in different districts.For men's clothes you can go to "Brother", "Lund & Lund" and more...;for children's and women's clothes "Hennes & Mauritz" and "Kappahl"for women's and children's clothing and underwear you can go to "Lindex" for the whole family there are big stores like "NK", "Ålens", "Pub" and "Debenhams".
Recently a very big outlet with good prices has been opened, the "Arlanda Village Outlet" located very near Arlanda airport.

You can find clothes for the whole family in all the big stores. If you prefer to have your clothes made than Atelje Lucretia is the place to go.

Hotels, houses and apartments have central heating and usually the temperature inside is quite warm. So when you are inside you need only to wear light or medium weight clothing throughout the year. The difference between the temperatures inside and outside can be quite striking so when you go out you need to wear a warm topcoat, scarf and hat and very good foot wear.

Ethnic and local clothing
Not much is available in terms of ethnic clothing unless you love to wear clogs or a Viking helmet. Clogs are very Swedish. The ones from the south have motifs painted on them.
