Stockholm - Car accidents procedure

In case of a car accident with no injured people, you should fill the form that your insurer provides you with. You should always have those forms in the car. In case you do not have them on you at the time of an accident the details you need from the other driver are the following:

• driver's license number
  number plate/registration number
  details of the insurance

If the other driver does not stop, you should record the registration number and the time of the accident and have a witness if you can.

If a person gets injured due to the accident, you should call the police and you should not move your vehicle. Using your cellular phone or a public telephone call the emergency number 112 for the Police, Fire brigade or Ambulance.
