Singapore - Religion

A path criterion

Singapore is a multi-racial and multi-religious society. The 2000 census provided information that the Singaporean population divides up as approximately 42% Buddhist, 15% Christian, 15% Muslim, 8% Taoist and 4% Hindu. To find a place of worship or to make a connection with a particular religious group, look in the Yellow Pages telephone directory under ‘churches’, ‘mosques’, ‘temples’, ‘temples-Hindu’ and ‘synagogues’.
