The Singapore Tourism board publishes a series of easy to read short guides called “Yours to Explore” which you can find at the tourism information centers. They cover Chinatown, Little India, Orchard Road and the Singapore River. Also available is “The Civic District Trail Guide” which covers Singapore’s colonial heritage.

SIA Hop-On A tourist bus route which you can travel on all day, getting off and on at different stops around the city. Day passes can be purchased on the bus and there are discounts for Singapore Airlines passengers.

Red tram bus that travels a route between Orchard Road, Singapore River, Raffles Hotel and Marina area. One day tickets cost $14.90 (Adults), $9.90 (Children) and can be bought from the driver for unlimited rides and a riverboat tour.
