A very large range of electrical appliances from Japan,  Asia and Europe is available in Singapore. Look in department stores and the following chain of electrical stores.

    This is a Japanese-style home electronics store with good service and prices.  There are also nine other locations.

  • Funan IT Mall
    109 Northbridge Road
    Singapore
    Six floors of stores selling mostly famous brands of computers like Compaq, Fujitsu and Hewlett Packard. The Challenger Store on the 6th floor has a very large range of software and computer add-ons.
  • Sim Lim Square
    1 Rochor Canal Road
    Singapore  
    Six floors of shops with audio and cameras on the lower floors and computers on the higher floors. Prices are low here but service and after sales care may not always be good. Compare prices at many different stores before buying. Bargaining is O.K. here.

There are two shopping centres in Singapore that specialize in computers.

    Funan IT Mall is six floors of stores selling mostly famous brands like Compaq, Fujitsu and Hewlett Packard. The Challenger Store on the 6th floor has a very large range of soft ware and computer add-ons.
  • Sim Lim Square
    1 Rochor Canal Road
    Singapore
    Sim Lim Square also has six floors of shops with computers mostly on the higher floors. Here the prices are lower but the service and after sales care may not be as good. Compare prices at many different stores for the best prices for computer extras like scanners, modems and printers. Bargaining is O.K. here.
