Dentists in Oslo
Most dental clinics are private and adults pay for all dental treatment (no refunds from the Social Security/trygdekontor). Children up to the age of 18 get free treatment from the dentist attached to their school. If your child attends a private school you need to make sure that your child is called up for regular checks with the school dentist in your area. Fluoride can be bought at the pharmacy/chemist.

A refund of up to 75% of the expenses for orthodontic treatment for children can be obtained from the Social Security office (trygdekontoret).
