Norway - Leaving the county for pets
When you are planning to leave the country with your pet, contact the Embassy of the country you are going to move to. They will advice you on the animal import regulations specific to the country you are going to live in and the paperwork you need to take care of. It is also useful to check with the Regional vet or the Animal Health Authority about vacciantions and health certificates.
Pets travelIf you are travelling with your pet in Norway, you need a container suitable for the animal, as well as plenty of fresh air, food and drink available. Do not leave your pet alone in the car unattended. If you travel on a plane with your pet, contact the airline for details about animal transport.
