If you plan to give birth in Mexico City, make sure your doctor has privileges in the above mentioned hospitals, as they offer top notch maternity services, warm and caring doctors, residents and nurses, as well as the necessary special equipment readily available in case it becomes necessary for the baby and/or the mother. You will find several maternity-only hospitals in Mexico City, with wonderful, caring personnel and cozy facilities. However, if special equipment is needed, the patient may have to be transferred to one of the hospitals just mentioned.
