Magazines
- Mexican magazines are available through the newsstands you find on the street.
- Foreign magazines and newspapers in many languages can be found in the Sanborns chain stores. Note however, that some available magazines from far away countries may reach Sanborn's stores 2-4 months after being published.
If you have a favorite magazine in your country, however, it never hurts to call/write to their offices and ask whether they offer subscriptions abroad.

Books in languages other than Spanish are not so easy to find, but here is a list of places that are worth taking a look into. A very small variety of english books can be found at Sanborns, Liverpool, Placa de Hierro, even at Office Max.

You may also call your "Embassy" and enquire whether they have a library that you can use.
If you speak any other language than your own, see if it is easier to find books in that language. You could even practice your translation skills by reading aloud to your children in their own language, from a book in a different one!
