Island Trips
It is possible to take a boat trip out to one of the islands, particularly Kubbar, where one can get away from the mainland for a spot of picnicking and swimming. Dhows can be hired for an authentic experience but do cost a couple of hundred KD (including crew) so most families prefer to share the costs.

The Aqua Park
Located next to the Kuwait Water Towers in Dasman the Aqua Park has water slides, an artificial wave pool, children’s pools and waterfalls. There are restaurants, small shops and a landscaped area for picnics.
