Hong Kong - Tax Treaties
Hong Kong strives not to have double taxation. If you have paid tax on income in another country, you generally do not have to pay tax on it in Hong Kong. Only income earned in Hong Kong is taxed. There is a new scheme to help eliminate double taxation from income taxed in mainland China and the use of a tax credit helps to offset double taxation.
