Hong Kong - Public Schools
The curriculum in Hong Kong is composed of four years of Kindergarten (from 2 to 6 years old) and nine years of Primary and Secondary school (from 7 to 16 years old). The Goverment is placing a considerable emphasis on enhancing students' biliterate and trilingual abilities and on helping newly arrived children from the Mainland integrate into the local school system as soon as possible.
Only Hong Kong citizens are permitted to attend public schools. Therefore we have no further information about public schools for the expat community.
