Germany - Leaving the country
When you are getting ready to leave, contact the utilities,
telephone, internet and cable TV providers well in advance. And do not
forget to close your bank accounts, removing all charge or debit sums you
may have previousely installed.
SP Services, the company that coordinates the electricity, water, gas and
garbage payments does not have a good system for making the final payment of
your account. You may have to leave some money with a friend or with your
landlord to pay the final amount.
