Paguro tells you what you need to know about this and any other way of travelling, such as travel by plane, boat, train, taxi, limousine and other local varieties.

Local overview

  • The French Riviera offers many possibilities to travel:

    - Nice Côte d'Azur airport is a major gateway to southern Europe
    - Nice - Paris by train is around 5 hours
    - The motorway A8 drives you quickly to Marseille or to Italy
    - Buses from Sophia-Antipolis to Nice and others towns
    - Taxis
  • In the summer, the traffic is heavy due to the arrival of many tourists. Reaching the sea from Sophia-Antipolis could take one or two hours instead of the twenty minutes it takes in the winter. Use a motorbike in stead!
  • The "Nicois" like driving quickly and park their cars anywhere. So be careful!
