The "Commission Départementale d'Education Spéciale" (CDES) in Nice will help with special equipment needed for studies and/or exams.
For example:
- a typewriter
- a secretary
- material to write in Braille
All the expenses for lodging and treatment within special and
professional education are dealt with by the social security system.
The various cases of handicap are treated by the CDES in order to decide which school is suitable, what material is needed, financial assistance and medical care.
