Important points to think about when considering further education: 

• make sure the program is recognized worldwide?
• can an incomplete course be transferred to another location?
• if you discontinue the course, are merit points available?
• be aware of disreputable establishments offering 'quick fix' qualifications; it is sometimes better to study by correspondence using a support group locally than to tie yourself to a local institution.
