France - Travel Insurance

In the case of a serious event (death, disease, accident), you are sure to get your money (plane tickets, subsistence expenses, of reservation...) partly or entirely back  from the insurance  company. It will be the same in the event of an accident or of a disease occurring at the time of your journey or stay. 

Many other guarantees can be associated with a traditional travel insurance as :
- Luggage insurance in the case of  loss or the luggage being stolen.
- 'Une protection juridique' which obliges the insurer to pay court expenses if necessary.
- Travel accident insurance that covers fees in the case of accident or injury.
- A weather guarantee that covers a minimum sunning and the 'air delays'. This insurance takes also care of extra expenses as hotels, lunch/dinner…

Some credit cards offer also this kind of services. Make sure your are using your credit card to pay your travel arrangements. Better ask your bank and save some money.
