France - Hospitals and Clinics
In France you can choose between hospitals or clinics.
A hospital is a public institution which offers a wide range of medical services and all the costs are reimbursed by the social security.
A clinic is private and often a consultation costs more than at a hospital. Treatments are only partly reimbursed, but you will get a better service (individual room, TV services).
