Houston - Clubs and bars

There are a large variety of clubs and bars in Houston. Although there are other hot spots around the city, downtown has become the magnet for after-hours fun, with hip clubs and chic restaurants springing up among renovated storefronts and warehouses.

Bars close at midnight on weekdays and at one in the morning on Friday and Saturday; they have to follow the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code chapter 105, defining allowable hours of sale and consumption of alcohol, but the state allows some communities to extend their allowable hours. Bars and clubs in Houston can sell liquoris up to 2am every day....
