The company Comptoir Nomade was created in Algiers in 2006 by Florence Milhade, after she relocated to Algeria with her family, and its expansion continues

Comptoir Nomade added Paris to its list of locations once Florence returned to France, after moving 10 times with a family of 4 children. Florence experience of mobility management is put to work for the benefit of companies and employees who come to settle down in the Paris area.

In Florence words: "We provide a highly personalized quality service, based on sincere and precise listening to our clients at each step of our mission in order to understand their needs. We want for the family the best possible start for this new life. We do know how the first days, the first months are crucial to the success of stay."

Comptoir Nomade organizes an orientation visit for the transferred employee and his family, welcome him and drive him in his new environment. We provide information to compare and choose the best area, according to constraints and needs (children, accessibility, cultural activities, type of accommodation). After the review of the form filled by the family and the criteria validated by the company, we lead a targeted research and we provide a selection of housing which respond to the requirement. We coordinate and manage all installation’s formalities (accommodation’s booking ; school’s registration ; assistance for the signature of the lease and house inspection; water, electricity, telephone, internet and house insurance enrollment).

We deal with administrative and immigration formalities : working/residence permit, registration with social institutions, driving license or registration of the vehicle, insurances. We provide, with selected partners, all services the employee needs from his arrival (moving in, cleaning lady, child minder, opening of a bank account, purchase or rent of car, purchase of furniture…).

At his arrival, we stand at his disposal so that the settling in takes place in the best possible conditions (visits, cross-cultural training, languages lessons). An help line is proposed during the initial months to assist the family solve everyday problems.

We make a weekly report for the employee and the company, till the end of the mission. 

Comptoir Nomade, gestionnaire de mobilité, s’installe à Paris

La société Comptoir Nomade, gestionnaire de mobilité, a été créée à Alger en 2006 par Florence Milhade, alors expatriée en Algérie avec sa famille.

De retour en France, après 10 déménagements avec une famille de 4 enfants, des séjours en expatriation en Angleterre et en Algérie, elle a souhaité mettre son expérience d’accompagnement de la mobilité au profit des entreprises et des collaborateurs qui s’installent à Paris et dans la région parisienne.

Le retour d'expatriation n'est jamais un moment facile, surtout quand on laisse derrière soi une société en développement qui répond à un véritable besoin. Première société de relocation en Algérie, Comptoir Nomade a trouvé sa place à Alger en offrant de nombreux services (logement, immigration, accompagnement inetrculturel) aux expatriés qui s'installent et peut maintenant s'appuyer sur un véritable réseau de compétences. Florence se rend tous les mois à Alger et la société poursuit sa route en Algérie avec des consultants algériens et expatriés (spécialistes de l'immobilier, juriste, sociologues).

Mais Florence a surtout décidé de développer Comptoir Nomade à Paris en proposant les services de relocation sur Paris et la région parisienne. La passion du métier, la richesse des rencontres et le plaisir de développer sa propre entreprise ont eu raison de toutes les réticences. La situation est différente, le marché est concurrentiel mais la place existe pour des services personnalisés et de qualité.
