Rambutan
Rambutan means "hairy" in Indonesian, Filipino, or Malay but refers to the plant as well as its "hairy" fruit. The scientific name is Nephelium lappaceum, a small tree native to Indonesia and Southeast Asia. In Central America it is known as mamón chino.
